Traveling Mercies

The road may not be easy,
The journey may be long,
But the LORD travels before me,
And He gives my heart a song.

There will be temptations and trials.
I may stumble, I may fall,
But, though the path is many miles,
I will heed my Master's call.

In my joy and in my sorrow,
My laughter and my fears,
I will not worry about tomorrow
Or my life in later years.

The LORD is my Rock and worthy of praise,
The LORD of Hosts, Redeemer, Dayspring;
Alpha and Omega, Ancient of Days,
My Savior, my God, and my King!

If God is for me, who can defeat me?
My God shall always supply.
At journey's end we shall meet by the sea,
Or upon His return I will fly!
