End Times

Rain falls outside my bedroom window,
Watering plants that will never grow.
Dying earth is pounded by heavy rains;
Troubles overwhelm, the beginning birth pains.

Fire, not water, shall wipe clean the ground
When God's wrath pours out this time around.
Noah's time was warned and so are we;
Beast of the land and beast of deep sea.

Nations against nations, kings against kings;
Wars, rumors, pestilence, many things -
All signs of the times, the harvest is ripe.
Mark Father's words well, its not all just hype.

Evil will be loosed, nations will fall.
Troubles are coming, and no city wall
Will save from God's wrath those blind to what's true:
Kings, slaves, rich, poor, men and women, too.

Put on your armor, lift up your shield,
Draw your spiritual sword, and never yield
To evil and darkness that hate the light;
Stand strong in the LORD, for this is His fight.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus, my King;
I want to go home, I want to take wing,
But I will wait for God's only Son -
Come quickly, Lord Jesus, Your will be done.
