He Paid The Price
Sometimes when my life is just hard
And my hope seems so very dim,
I
remember I'm not alone
For I can always count on Him.
Jesus the Christ, who for me died -
My Savior, my Master, my Lord
-
Has shed His blood to set me free,
An offering of love outpoured.
He paid it all to set me free,
He came down from Heaven above.
God
incarnate, turned to a man
As an offering of His love.
My price He paid upon the tree,
And, with His final, dying breath,
HE
paid the price, took all my sin,
And spared me from eternal death.
His life He has so freely given,
My life He returned to me.
I
give it back, His tool to use
'Till we meet in eternity.
If He could pay that price for me,
Then I can spread His holy word.
Armor
in place, strap on my shield;
In spirit I pick up my sword.
Tell all the world of His great love,
Generations of Adam's fall.
The
Way, the Truth, the Life has come -
Jesus Christ, my Savior, my all!
