My Father's Love
John the Baptist was sent to prepare the way
And baptized Jesus
during His earthly stay.
And when He came up, a form fell like a dove
From the Father who said, "My Son, whom I love."
Jesus came down to die, the world to save,
Suffering great pain,
He conquered the grave.
Sent down as a baby from Heaven above -
A gift from the Father and a sign of His love.
The pain my Father must have felt when his Son
Died and took all
my sins, His only one!
Such a gift given can only be a sign of
The incredible power of my Father's love!
