Paths Crossed
Our lives are separate journeys,
Each heading for the same place.
Our
souls are flying onward,
Each longing to see His face.
But sin is a heavy load to take,
Its weight will drag you down.
If
you don't give them over to God,
You will never receive your crown.
Each person makes his own choices,
The consequences he alone must
bear.
But God forgives, and through His grace
We can give to Him our every care.
Each struggle we face makes us stronger -
Every trial, every fall,
every tear.
Our journey will bring us closer to Him
If we are willing to go without fear.
Each winding path for each of us
Crosses other paths and trails.
A
choice we make can turn another's -
Shape whether one succeeds or fails.
Each bad cross we form with another
Is a burden that Jesus died
for
On a cross all His own, Calvary's Tree,
To purchase us all, rich and poor.
What kind of love it must have taken!
My Savior, who bled - died
for me!
My paths cross others, I pray that they
Bring more souls ever closer to Thee.
